Kakrc

Kakrc is another tranquil village on the coast of Krtoli. The special microclimate of this remote place, the gentle wind, the air scented with salt and herbs, the wooden boats – all this together creates an atmosphere like on an old postcard. A special feature of the seawater around Kakrc are the numerous submarine freshwater springs in the area. Another spring is located in the heart of the village. It is thanks to this that the water around Kakrc is considered the clearest on the entire coast of Montenegro, according to the Institute of Marine Biology.
Kakrc is only three hundred metres from the Tivat – Krtoli – Luštica road and is therefore easily accessible. In the village there are about 30 old stone houses that have been converted into holiday homes.
