Kakrc is another tranquil village on the coast of Krtoli. The special microclimate of this secluded spot, the gentle wind, the air scented with salt and herbs, the wooden boats – all these blend together to create an atmosphere like an old postcard. A special feature of the seawater around Kakrc is that there are numerous submarine freshwater springs in this area. In addition, there is another spring located in the heart of the village. It is thanks to these circumstances that the water around Kakrc is considered the clearest on the entire coast of Montenegro, according to the Institute of Marine Biology.
Kakrc is only three hundred metres from the Tivat – Krtoli – Luštica road, through which it is easily accessible. In the village there are about 30 old stone houses that have been converted into holiday homes.
