LASTOVSKI KARNEVAL

The traditional Lastovo carnival will be held in the month of February. The carnival procession starts from the 7th district in Donja Lastva accompanied by two blech bands, majorettes and trombone players across the Lastovo waterfront to the church of St. Roka, where the trial of Krneval will take place. The burning of the “culprit” will take place on the mul in Donja Lastva. After the act of burning and the celebration that will take place with his disappearance, all participants will have the opportunity to have fun at the masquerade ball with numerous surprises and the awarding of rich prizes to the best group and individual masks.
